MaKayla Ramsey has been promoted to Financial Services Representative Manager at the Algood Office, announced Kenny Beavers, Senior Vice President and Director of Retail Banking.

“MaKayla has been a great addition to our team of already talented bankers in the Cookeville/Algood markets,” said Beavers. “She provides excellent customer service levels that have helped us grow relationships with new and existing customers. Makayla’s experience lends itself well to the daily operations of the office and ensures that operational, safety and soundness goals are met.”

Ramsey joined First Freedom in May of 2017 as a Financial Services Representative (FSR) at the Cookeville Office. As an FSR, she was often a member of Chairman’s Cup, a bank-lead contest to recognize high performers in that role.  Ramsey had previous experience in the financial industry, having served as a Customer Service Representative at a credit union. In December of 2015, she earned her bachelor’s in psychology from Tennessee Tech University.

Ramsey is an active member of her church, serving on the finance committee, volunteering as the treasurer’s assistant, assisting the women’s ministries, and helping the church’s worship team.

A native of Smithville, Tennessee, she currently resides in Algood with her husband, Landon, and her daughter, Lydia Lou. They attend Cookeville Church of the Nazarene.
